In a hen house, the air purifiers are advantageously mounted hanging from the ceiling and adjusted to a suitable height, during the chickens' growth. The height is changed again before emptying / cleaning and then they are hoisted up to facilitate large cleaning of the hen house. The air purifiers can also advantageously be mounted movably in the roof and sweep, for example, in the longitudinal direction of the housing and absorb particles at the rate at which they are generated.

The main use of the invention is air purification in rooms with large darnm generation and where the floor surface must be kept free, such as animal stables, chicken and pig houses, as well as construction sites and other darmintensive environment, eg cement industry.
The apparatus shown in Fig. 1 consists of a base plate (1) with drive device (2), which drives a longer shaft (3). Mounted on the shaft is a rotor, consisting of two ends (4,5), which between them have a circular separation unit (6), which either steers on the ends (4,5), or by means of spokes or thinly against the shaft (3) . Furthermore, between the separation unit (6) and the shaft (3) there is a space (7) which communicates with the outlet chamber (8). Around the rotor there is also a cylindrical body (9) which we call a "turbo cylinder", which means that the entire volume of air between it and the separation unit (6) is set in rotation. The turbo cylinder (9) has one or more openings (10), each of which has a knife-like member, which traps (like a planer) the particles moving closest to the inside of the turbo cylinder (9).
Particles that are captured are collected in a particle chamber (11) where they fall to the bottom. When the chamber (11) is full, it is emptied by means of doors (12). The particle-laden air is sucked in at (13) by the fl shaft (14), mounted on the motor shaft (3). The air then enters the space (15) where it is set in rotation, whereby all larger particles are thrown out against the inner wall of the turbocylinder (9) and further out through the opening (s) (10). The air then flows countercurrently through the separator unit (6) from (15) to (7) and further to the outlet chamber (8) and then via the fan (14) to an outlet chamber (16). Outside this, in case of extreme purity requirements, a so-called HEPA filter (17) can be mounted. The purified air then leaves the appliance.
The smaller particles are drawn with the air into the separator unit (6), but are then thrown out again against the turbocylinder wall (9) and are either trapped at some opening (10), or collide with other particles and form larger ones, or try again to pass the separation unit (6), after which the process is repeated.
At the bottom there is a delimited space (18) which reduces the area at the inlet (13), so that an efficient suction is obtained. The space (18) can, if necessary, be used for dehumidification and odor reduction of the air before it passes on to (15).
The apparatus in the embodiment shown is intended to be hung in the ears (19) over the surface to be freed from particles. In another embodiment, the apparatus is set up like an ordinary vacuum cleaner, by connecting a suction hose at (13).
